There are many signs and symptoms of agoraphobia, including some of the classics. Single a qualified health professional can really make a correct diagnosis, however.

Some things to look out for is the fear of crowded places and at the other extreme, the fear of being alone. You're afraid to leave home on your own.
You rely on others to leave. You feel powerless and do not control. In fact, you're afraid of losing control, especially in a public place. You need a quick evacuation.
