As a rule what is out of sight disturbs men's minds more seriously than what they see. By Julius Caesar Find out about The Great Depression Timeline

Procrastination: What does this mean?

Procrastination is an interesting topic. This is probably one of the main reasons why people do not fulfill their purpose in life and achieve their dreams. If you think about it, procrastination seems that one of the most illogical, a person can do it. You have a purpose in life - but you do not take steps to achieve this goal. Where is the logic in that? How can we begin to undestand the dynamics of procrastination, what drives it, and how to stop procrastination - without stress? Here are some ideas:

1.) One of the main dynamic behind procrastination is a fear associated with the action. It could be fear of success. It could be fear of failure. One might fear that the task will consume too much time. It could be fear of rejection. You would think that we are embarrassed. There is an unlimited variety forms that can take fright. The important thing is to get clear on what the fear is the origin of procrastination and coping. This is perhaps deciding to take action despite fear. It would perhaps realize that fear is ridiculous in light of this success might be.

2.) Another thing to check is the possibility that procrastination can be a deliberate sabotage of self from you. This could arise from many things: the fear of being "over other", fear of losing love if we succeed in our dreams, afraid to go beyond our Parental achievements. All of these can be subtle and subconscious and drive the car without sabotaging our consciousness. None of this makes sense, but is extremely common.

3.) Another thing driving procrastination can be a simple lack of planning. Without a weekly planning, and evaluation Weekly completion of your projects, you have no emergencies or accountabiltiy. Without a plan, without deadlines and without clarity on what to do for when the Procrastination is more "common sense". It is simply a load of time you use to avoid taking action on something you are unclear about.

4.) What do you want to postpone the issue? It is an interesting question to ask. Since procrastination is an avoidance behavior you can take a look to see what it is you avoid. Do you avoid what you fear may change in your life when you get it? Are you avoiding being the size that you are capable of? Are you avoiding necessary actions once you've completed the action dithered over? Are you avoiding to commit to your real life? Are you avoiding the great feeling you get when you manage this you have been procrastinating about? Are you avoiding taking charge of your life and instead "kill time" with trivial activities? Do you avoid the collapse of the large amount of energy that comes from action rather than procrastination?

5.) To postpone, it is necessary to fill your time doing activities without consequence when we know they are not important actions take. This usually gives a guilty feeling almost depressed. We know that we are not doing for ourselves, but we have enclosed in a cycle goes nowhere without respite.

The # 1 solution to procrastination is to face the fact and do all that you have been avoiding - First thing immediately. Just create one day where you handle this first point. Set up things so that you have time. Gather everything you need. Get ready for the event. Make it your priority. Do not do anything else before completing this section. Make sure there is enough time in your schedule. Take the time to create a winning situation. Do not give until it is completed. Do not leave anything to get in your way. Do not be distracted by trivialities. Just do what it takes.

You'll find that procrastination by meeting "the head "every time you release a huge burst of energy. From this burst of energy, you will find that in the following rupture of procrastination, you unexpectedly do a lot of other articles. By creating the habit of "Do It First" rather than to procrastinate, you literally break through a huge barrage of self-imposed stagnation. Try this. You'll be amazed at your results.
