Teen Depression Poems Quotes:

It is not the mountain we conquer but ourselves. By Edmund Hillary Find out about Teen Depression Poems

teenage drinking - keep only what is? Who is responsible?

This article is my opinion - it is based on my years of work and my experience - As a doctor, psychiatrist, mother and grandmother. I am writing this article about the excessive levels of alcohol consumption in a growing number adolescents.

I confess to being not only relevant, but somewhat perplexed.

First I ask the question - "In the last 40yrs, he was a major change in our body?

In my work, I updated with new breakthroughs. However, now I fear that Meanwhile, I must have missed a major breakthrough in knowledge. If not, then I am left with the question "does anyone care? If yes who?

Let me explain.

For 35 years, I have always loved my job - except for a period of six months during my training for the highest degree, MRCPsych (UK), while I was supposed to work for six months to one unit of alcohol. In my opinion, the spirit is and has always been the most important organ in the body - a car with the steering wheel does not work is not the best vehicle to drive on roads Complicated life.

But this time I found the most depressing I've ever encountered at work - for a reason. Most people I worked with were there because of their own deliberate actions. Some people, such as those with unresolved grief, drank first for a reason - but alcohol does not cure anything. He just added the problem of depression. I witnessed the devastation slow many lives.

Some people have an inherited tendency to alcoholism. This means that person must abstain from drinking alcohol or suffer the consequences of addiction. Nut allergy can kill - nobody should ever eat nuts or they will die. I am not indifferent - on the contrary, I have great concern for youth.

However, let's be honest! The vast majority Youth who drink too much do so because they chose and love to their peers and friends do this, it is "what they do." In fashion teenage typical, they are not apparently concerned about the consequences. But it is surprising - Given the level of consumption of many o the adults around them? Who are they supposed to learn?

I am writing not as a watchdog to tell people what to do, without knowing the difficulties myself. I spent my childhood and adolescence before asthma medications - be assured, this is not an easy option. I had many problems health - the cause of itself and without spontaneous.

I did not tell people what to do in my work - I listened, processed, and guided gave them options for an alternative way of thinking / believing / acting. They could choose to listen and change - or not.

Experience work in the unit of alcohol has never left my memory. Most patients were young and potentially good health, were in their twenties and early thirties, but have been gradually eroding their health, their intelligence, their family life, marriages, and their career. It was sad. An 8 year old girl came to visit her mother. Shortly after the girl left, her mother had no Remember to have a daughter. Alcohol affects the short-term memory - without which life has little meaning.

It has been recognized long time in the medical world that women are much more easily damaged by alcohol than men, and yet, young women have now been drink as much if not more men. Add to which there is the potential impact damage to babies born to mothers who drink.

Amounts who have been drunk by patients in the room to bring them to the cravings of the unit for help, was on average much less than young people drink alcohol today liberal society, and it took only about 10 years of dedicated drinking enough to reach their damaged state. The other factor is that these men and women began to drink in their late teens - not much older age groups Young people who drink now. Today - there is more volume of alcohol drunk at a younger age and drinks are much higher in the unit equivalence.

But that's where I'm in.

Can anyone who knows a lot more and is smarter than me tell me where I can find the article / book / research that I have read to put my knowledge up to date?

I want to see evidence that speaks of change that must in all honesty and intelligence, took place in the human body in the past 30yrs to explain the incredible levels of alcohol consumption than Many young people are actually allowed to drink. There is no excuse for a parent to say "he / she goes out and I do not know what they are about a teenage son or daughter. Parents, do you not care? You must take your responsibilities in providing ongoing monitoring and guidance - and being good role models. The limits are necessary - but parental authority, control in mutual respect can not begin in adolescence - It must start in childhood and requires time, patience, love and limits.

(But that's another subject.)

To back to my question on the foreground - let me be more specific.

- Is the liver somehow become more resistant to damage from alcohol? NO

- On the wall of the stomach and got thicker or harder to avoid an ulcer? NO

- A brain suddenly had ability to generate memory cells more than the alcoholic dementia does not occur? NO

- Have an adolescent brain suddenly matured earlier? NO

- Did the miracles of evolution happened? NO

Cirrhosis of the liver was unthinkable a few years ago in the younger age groups. Young people are dying of cirrhosis of the liver. The problem with alcohol is a pity that the final result is not immediate, but, as in lung cancer from smoking, he slips into the background like a bad stalker waiting to strike.

Another reason I ask This question about possible new knowledge and "does anyone care, is that the government of the United Kingdom made at all hours drinking and alcohol is now allowed to be sold very cheaply, in a conspicuous place in supermarkets and much higher equity units / Flight?

WHY - know the effects of alcohol, I can not find a moral reason.

Finally, I ask "does anyone care" because that parents are actually paying for the consumption of alcohol - that most 11-15 years or older adolescents do not earn money. Some parents take the attitude "They'll grow out of it" or "they are sensitive. Do not rely on this mistaken belief.

Harm Alcohol - the liver and brain - is irreversible.

Adolescence is maturing years. The brain is not yet mature. If health is ruined at this point, all future adult life is spoiled. In my opinion, parents are always responsible for health and well-being of their teenagers. Who else has the authority and responsibility? Oh - of course, schools, teachers and state! Sorry I forgot - How stupid of me.

Where is the breakthrough that I can not find? There is not one.

These six months of work in the unit of alcohol showed me a side of human nature, which, when accessed, enhanced and nurtured by alcohol, life has no value, family, ability, friend or child - a team that took the path of destruction through the slow initial false and transitory mirth and camaraderie, the decline in depression and forgetfulness.

This side is permitted and, often, even encouraged to become more prevalent among adolescents - by denial of responsibility and control by parents, and a government that allows alcohol to be freely accessible and more powerful. The fabric of society will be eroded by antisocial behavior fueled by alcohol, and causing damage People who rely on the company in the future. In my opinion, whatever the state government or the parents say - those who let teens DO NOT CARE drink excessively.

Teenagers can not experience a hangover, and direct the education of instruction may cons reign little peer pressure combined and lack of confidence. Teenagers tend to want other teens to "do what I do," or "I want to do what you do - feel safer with a" solidarity "with others of the same age. To be accepted and "part of the band is more important to many" what can happen. "

I wrote 'Choice Award for book of poetry for teenagers specifically for teenagers - using metaphors and rhymes in an attempt to strengthen the psyche of adolescent health promotion and discussion - gently how nondirective. Some poems are read by me on my site of the school.

The books are deliberately inexpensive - the cost a few glasses of wine or beer - and can be purchased via the site included in the resource box.

Parents, wake up, take action before it is too late - or your children will die before. If you have not experienced pain in your life again, you surely if you let them drink too much. As a psychiatrist, I can tell you that losing a child is the greatest grief a person can face.

There will be no resurrection, not life for teenagers with adult brain or liver is damaged irreversibly.

For those with younger children, build your relationship, Now Pastime and effort with them and setting a good example for them.

(Long version of this article is on my site.)

Do you like my poems. (Mostly teenagers)?

What if? If I were born in this world is perfect if everyone in the world is perfect What If something no one care if I was rich or poor, short or high freckles freckles or not? What if things all right for any errors or? What if life is nothing if people can see through your skin you look at heart of pain. Pain, depression, and of what, if you useless things. If they were not a hell of heaven or what if we all have the same or not. Shadow, we all hurt, or what we are all, if I remove the mask and found that all the hair Are they still care about me What if I have a simple question to ask yourself the time after question time, I did not answer when I was told. Everyone is special, I believe that there is no evidence? If?

The poem is amazing. I have read books, poetry, and have not found that GREAT!
