It means not taking your work home (no matter what), 7–8 hours sleep each night, practicing meditation, yoga, or any relaxation technique you like, stretching, and proper exercise every day. Treat your body and mind correctly – give them free time and you will be rewarded.

3) The third thing you must do to cure anxiety without any medicine to understand what triggers your anxiety and learn the correct way to deal with it.

Be aware of the fact that you can cure anxiety without medication. Get the right tools to combat it is something you can do once and have forever. It should be done with the advice of your gynecologist and psychiatrist. In the case of severe clinical depression, there is no point in taking the risk for both, baby and the mother.

In some cases severe patients also can have babies, but it is too risky. Such patients should be treated with meditations, psycho therapies and anti –attacking consultation.

Generally, it is suggested that those women who are mildly depressed should stop medication, and even those who are in medium severity level also can choose to do the same. If a depression patient wants to get pregnant, she should consult a doctor before taking any decision. Case history, suicide attempts and such issues need to be discussed frankly with the doctor. Transcendental meditation involves focusing the mind on an object to achieve stillness. EMG (electromyography) biofeedback measures muscle relaxation and teaches people to control their own level of muscle relaxation. Mindfulness meditation teaches awareness of one's thoughts while maintaining detachment. Kundalini yoga includes a meditative form of breathing known as pranayama.

Both studies proved that meditation was comparable to other forms of relaxation therapy in reducing anxiety. However, while no side effects were associated with meditation, about 33%-44% of the participants involved in the studies dropped out, suggesting that people with anxiety disorder may have a hard time sticking to a meditation regimen. But the small number of people involved in the studies makes it difficult to draw any firm conclusions about the effectiveness of meditation and relaxation techniques in the treatment of anxiety disorders. Further studies are recommended to determine the roles of alternative therapies in treating anxiety disorders 

Other findings are as follows:

· All relaxation and meditation techniques resulted in improved scores on measures of anxiety, current mood, and symptoms of distress, but sleep disturbances did not improve.

· Work, social functioning, and family relations also improved among all treatment groups, but marital relations and sex life were not affected.

· Kundalini yoga wasn't as effective in treating obsessive-compulsive disorders as mindful meditation, although participants who practiced this form of yoga had more improvement on scores of perceived stress and purpose in life.

At the first sign of the disorder, consult your family doctor to determine whether the symptoms that alarm you are due to an anxiety disorder, or could be another medical condition, or both.

I've learned that I have a Social Anxiety Disorder - what's the next step in pursuing treatment?

It's sort of a self diagnoses. I've been asking around for years and doing research off and on and I came across the symptoms for Social Anxiety Disorder. I seem to have about 90% of the symptoms in such a severe way that it effects my daily life dramatically. I'm unable to see psychologists or doctors due to the cost, and I don't have any support from family. I've been reading about Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but how do I know that's right for me? As long as I know a certain treatment will work for me, I would be willing to do everything in my power to try and get it. I'm afraid if I wait too long, my depression as a result from my social anxiety will get even worse and impair any chances I have of recovering. Thanks everyone!

Extrinsic means it is due to the conditions of the environment or brought about by pathological conditions beyond the control of the individual. Disorders belonging to the Dysomnia category include insomnia, Narcolepsy and Sleep apnea. Sleep, night terrors, & Anxiety disorder?

Every few months I will go to bed like normal but sometime early morning I wake up with the feeling that the worst thing has happened I don't no what it is and I can't explain but i'm scared and its like i'm in a trance half asleep and the worst feeling imaginable follows me around. Then I will turn on the TV or walk around and I snap out of it. I do deal with alot of anxiety but am not on any meds for it at the moment, is this just a panic attack?

It sounds like a sleep disorder to me - perhaps an apnoea or hypnogogic type of thing (check them out on google). Anxiety can make these disorders worse. I would have a word with your GP about how you are feeling in general. You may need some sleep tests and /or stress management.

I sympathise entirely as I suffer from the same symptoms although much more frequently than every few months! The thing is, it is a good idea to break the pattern before it becomes established.

Do they have inpatient treatment for depression?

My depression is out of control. I am completely miserable and cannot find joy in anything. This is really taking a toll on my relationship with my son and fiance. I sleep 14 hours a day, am not eating, and do not enjoy doing things i used to. I have gone to regular outpatient therapy and it did not help. I have recently started anti depressants. I live in upstate ny and have CDPHP through medicaid and am pretty certain this will be covered or partially covered.

Yes, they have inpatient. And if you feel like you need it, I think you should go for it. They also have residental treatment which is months of treatment instead of weeks like inpatient is.

Also, remember that it's not easy getting over such things, but if you want to get better you can achieve it. =)
