Anxiety attack cure - Analysis of Thought, Lysis of Anxiety
Today our life is nothing but a series of intricacies. Tension, sorrow and trauma are reigning supreme all over and every human being is fighting some issue or the other. Relaxation is so far from us that we cannot achieve it even during holidays meant for it. Anxiety, stress and strain has become an indispensable part of our lives.
A more heightened and intensified worry is anxiety disorder and panic attack. Let us try and find out more about panic attacks.
Short periods of intense anxiety, during which the patient is plagued by acute manifestations like increased hear beat, trembling, sweating, hot flushes or chills, nausea, giddiness, breathlessness, butterflies in the stomach, paresthesias, derealisation or depersonalization, may be termed as Panic Attack. The disorder may be diagnosed in accordance with the guidelines provided in the Diagnostic and Statistic Manual IV of the American psychiatric Association.
Other forms of anxiety disorder include phobias, social anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress, obsessive and compulsive disorder and, most commonly encountered, generalized anxiety disorder.
At times, the disorder may also be a consequence of Vitamin B deficiency, tapeworm infection or inner ear infection; it may also be a result of drug or alcohol abuse. However, most commonly, it is the heredity of an individual which has been accused to be the prime causative agent of panic attacks by researchers - a certain set of genes when given the company of certain environmental factors cause the onset of panic disorder.
Anxiety attack cure is possible - there can be a three-pronged process for the same:
> Lifestyle changes - increasing the dose of relaxation and laughter in one's timetable
> Sessions with a psychotherapist - therapeutic assistance and soothing conversation with the psychoanalyst has been the reason of the cure of several anxiety disorder and panic attack patients
> Medication - a variety of pharmaceutical companies have brought medicines for panic and anxiety disorders
Without doubt, the best panic attack treatment is relaxation. The various spas and the massage centers specializing in acupuncture and acupressure and the yoga and the Thai Chi training institutes are some places where relaxation may be attained. These methods help the anxiety-ridden mind and body to relax so totally that there is a slow but steady ebbing of the mental tension. Most of these relaxation techniques work through causing sleep to envelop the patient - a good sleep does away with most of the anxiety woes.
For enhanced peace of mind and solace, it is advisable to incorporate some slight changes in one's way of living life. Try and spend time with children and pets - they have the quality of taking you away from negative thoughts and replenish you with positive energy. The much applauded laughter therapy is also a great way out - join laughter clubs or watch more comedy shows on TV - either way, laugh your way out of panic attacks. Laughter, they tell me, is the best medicine after all! One other practice that may help ease anxiety to a great extent is adoption meditation as part of daily routine and spirituality as a bent of mind - both can prove to be a great aid to anxiety riddance.
However, all the methods discussed above can only be a part of professional psychotherapy in the case of seriously affected patients.
A psychotherapist has a range of therapies in his kitty to help the sufferer. One of the keenest-edged therapies available is the Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy, often abbreviated as CBT. CBT involves two major sub-parts - one, making the patient cognizant about the flow of thoughts in his mind and, two, making him control his behavioural response to his panicky or anxious thoughts. This may well nigh be the best possible panic attack treatment, as it turns the mind of the patient - the very victim of the disorder - against anxiety and panic. The patient, after a few sessions, begins to feel the positivity in his system and the strengthening of his will power. He gradually begins to counsel himself against the onset of an attack.
Other alternative therapies include Exposure Therapy or Gradual Exposure Therapy. At times, the panic may be triggered by a specific agent called phobia or fear factor of the patient. The patient is asked to face bravely this particular fear factor - but only under monitoring of the psychotherapist. The degree of severity of the fear factor is arranged such that it is in the ascending order - as the patient gets accustomed to a lesser form, he is now exposed to a higher one. At the peak of it, the patient gets rid of his phobia totally.
Sometimes, medicines are involved with psychotherapist's treatment and lifestyle changes to impart an effective anxiety attack cure - however, most clinicians avoid medication as the sole treatment program as these drugs often have side effects. They are all mostly tranquilizers and work by changing the neurotransmitter level in the brain. The major drug classes are:
* Benzodiazepines - alprazolam, clonzepam, diazepam
* Buspirone
* Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors - paroxetine, sertraline, fluvoxamine
* Serotonin Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitors - Venlafaxine, Tramadol
* Tricyclic Antidepressants - Amitriptyline, Trimipramine

I need help getting stories for my college essay.?
I am writing an essay on why I think that the anxiety and depression that comes to high school students from social interactions and such is understated and is more serious than we think. And why I think that depression and anxiety in high school is a big deal.
But I need some good online stories or statistics that I can find and cite, and I'm horrible at finding them.
Maybe something about how a student had been showing signs of depression and being suicidal for a while, and no one took notice, and eventually they committed suicide.
Stories about how depression/anxiety in high school led to bad things happening to the student, and It would be great to have statistics about how high school interaction/social interaction can impact a student's health, emotional well being, etc... And like I said before, anything that highlights how the students were neglected.
Anything at all will help, thanks!
Try doing a research, also make an outline, and do some free writing which is whatever comes into ur mind, it will help u write an better essay.
Have fun

Certainly concur with just what you explained. Your explanation was undoubtedly the easiest to comprehend. I usually get irritated whenever folks comment on factors that they obviously do not know about. You were able to hit the nail on the head and explained the whole thing with out complication. Possibly, people can take a sign. Will more than likely be back again to obtain more. Thanks
