What causes depression?

I was depressed in my last pregnancy too. I think it would fatigue and morning sickness in I remember one semester in my first pregnancy, it is sometimes in the first quarter. But now it's kicking my butt and I have twins age One of them will wake up and take care of. Sleeping in cribs are playing together and they me. dreading get them! How terrible is? They are being happy and now I'm the one. My sigh .. but anyone have any suggestions. I do not want to pills. Thanks!
