Any Manic Depressives in a Manic State right Now?
Yes. I have been in a manic episode for about 3 months straight now. I was diagnosed 15 years ago and see a psychiatrist every 2 - 3 months and have prescriptions that work. The problem is financially I cannot afford to pay for them. And I even have RX insurance. But I'm working on it right now, and just have to hang in there.

I understand that many of the symptoms can overlap but what would you say is the major difference between Schizophrenic/Paranoid VS. Depressive/Manic.

I would say the biggest difference is that people with manic depression move back and forth between mania and depression, while schizo/paranoid people will display all or any of the symptoms at any time.
