Are there any movies based on the Great Depression?
I have to make a video about the Great Depression or around the 1930s-1940s with Franklin Roosevelt for my history class and I basically need a movie around there, it's hard to explain. Do you guys remember any movies around this time? So far I have Cinderella Man but I can't use that because we'll be watching it later.

try these titles, they will give you an idea of life during the depression Era. "Grapes of Wrath" will give you the best impression of the hard life of the era, and two of the tiles are based on real people and their lives of that era... I hope these help.
Also try, "Bonnie and Clyde" and "Dillinger" for the life of crime of the era with the two most notorious criminal gangs of that time... Both are excellent films.
