Hello,
I have been prescribed Cymbalta for depression/chronic pain.
I have not yet taken it as I have read MANY bad things from other people on forums and such on the web and am a little scaerd to started it.
I was wondering is some Yahoo's out there could give some input.
Has it worked for you?
Have you had terrible side effects?
Has it made you gain weight?
Any info would be helpful.

Did you get the Patient Information Sheet that comes from the Manufacturer? It is a legal requirement of prescribing that you receive one. If not go to the pharmacy and demand one. The sheet lists all side effects experienced during the trial period and the percentage of those in the trial who experienced the side effect. The website below reproduces the Doctor's and Patient's information sheet.
