Anxiety Types - How To Survive Them
The hassles of everyday living can surely take a heavy toll both on your psychological and physical health. it's of no suprise that many people in these modern days suffer from stress than it was a decade ago ago. Most people complain of having a regular feeling of nervousness and restlessness, and will most likely be unaware of the major soucre of this feeling. it's undeniable fact that most of those who complain of anxiety attacks don't have control over their emotions and may have Anxiety as a repeated occurence over long periods of time resulting from certain psycho-social or physical situations in their daily lives.
An increasing number of people are indeed trying to find cures for anxiety, and often in wrong quarters. There exists no single treatment that can boast of the ability to treat all symptoms of anxiety, but there are quite a good number of treatments available that could help greatly. Three of these most common cures include psychotherapy, medication therapy and holistic therapy.
A cost effective non-traditional method of treating anxiety is medication therapy. This of course involves medication in the processof containing and treating anxiety, and you need to consult a doctor. The doctor will then conduct some examination in able to determine the intensity and seriousness of your anxiety condition. Medication will then be a necessary measure to help manage your anxiety. This medication is however, short lived, and you may have to use it continuosly over time to keep anxiety attacks at bay. It is therefore judicious to discontinue your medication usage, or symptoms may appear repeatedly. The two most common medication prescribed for anxiety disorders are anxiolytics or anti-depresants.
Method number two is psychotherapy which employs counselling in helping you understand and cope with your anxiety problems well. Psychotherapy helps you learn to identify what elements triggeranxiety in you, inclusive of situational, psychological as well as emotional factors. Psychotherapy differs from medication, because its aimed asan anxiety cure for extended periods, and it works by penetrating the roots of all your anxiety problems to treat the underlying factors and negative feelings.
The last method is holistic anxiety therapy. This involves Acupuncture as another form of alternative treatment that involves the use of needles to heal the body of ailments and clear the mind of psychological related problems. The method involves needles strategically placed in body points to achieve an energy balance that results to a healthy body and a peaceful psyche. This is a practice widely used in the healing of a wide variety of behavioral and psychological problems inclusive of anxiety disorder. Yoga, deep breathing exersices, and relaxation techniques are just many of the other holistic anxiety cures that are designed to help you maintain calmness during an anxiety attack.
You may have to try some of these many relaxation techniques and methods to find out what works best for you, in helping you alleviate your anxiety related problems.

Woo hoo!! CBT is the best. After 15 years of panic attacks they vanished. I visited a psychologist, but she basically taught me using "The Feeling Good Handbook". I still get a little anxious now and again, but my life has completely changed. The person who invented CBT should be given a medal. Good luck if you become a therapist!
